Jack Naranjo | Partner
Jack Naranjo has been practicing tax law, corporate law, and business transaction law since 2003. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 1997 and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M., Taxation) from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2003. His undergraduate degree was a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, and included a semester of studying classical Greek philosophy at Oxford University in the UK.
Jack has handled federal, state, and local tax controversies for individuals and companies, as well as complex corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, controlled foreign corporation tax issues, foreign asset reporting issues, and issues pertaining to tax-exempt entities. He has litigated state and federal tax matters in Tax Court and state court. He has handled many IRS appeals of assessment, liens and levies. He is not afraid to tackle complex and daunting tax issues. He is not afraid of the IRS.
Jack lives and works in The Woodlands. In his free time, Jack enjoys spending time with his family, experimenting with virtual reality as an artistic medium, and traveling. Jack is a fluent Spanish speaker and has traveled many times to South America and Spain.
