Nick is a licensed attorney with the State Bar of Texas, as well as the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.). His practice focuses on tax controversies and litigation at the federal and state levels, as well as advising clients with regard to the tax impacts of their business transactions. Prior to joining us, Nick gained experience with a large multi-national firm where he focused on advising clients with respect to complex international business transactions.
Nick received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, which is consistently ranked as one of the top three programs in the nation and is recognized world-wide. Nick received his law degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he participated in the schools’ Low-Income Tax Clinic, the focus of which is to provide tax legal services to those in the community who cannot afford legal representation. Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Louisiana State University.
Nick was born and raised in Eunice, Louisiana. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and fishing, watching LSU sports, and spending time with his wife, Erin.
